Parsley greatly helps digestion, fighting stomach pain, bowel pain and flatulence thanks to apiol essential oil, which is very active.

Practical recipes
Decoction for bellyache and liver blockage: prepare a decoction boiling 30 g (1.05 oz) of parsley roots in half a litre of water. It’s helpful to fight dropsy and liver blockage, to improve blood circulation and to calm lower abdomen pain.

Poultice for skin ecchymosis and sores: use crashed and ground leaves to make a poultice to apply to sores and bruises.

Seeds infusion for flatulence and acid stomach: a touch of seeds in a cup of boiling hot water. Drain and sweeten after 20 minutes. Drink in case of dyspepsia, stomachache and flatulence.
