Make an alternative coffee

You can make coffee with dandelion (taraxacum).
Roast in the oven the roots harvested in autumn and cut into slices.

The eucalyptus is known for its aromatic properties, thanks to its essential oil contained in the leaves, eucalyptus has a strong smell like that of the camphor.

When it comes to the treatment of the respiratory system it's known for its balmy effect. In fact it's recommended for those who suffer from sinusitis. You can use it by putting 10 grams of dried leaves in a pint of boiling water and do steam inhalation for 3 days.

Instead, for the oral inflammations, gargles with a decotion can be beneficial. Prepare by boiling for 10 minutes 10 grams of dried eucalyptus leaves in 250ml of water. Allow to cool and then strain. Gargle but don't swallow the liquid.

Skin diseases with dandelion

Poultices (cataplasm) of taraxacum are effective for ulcers and skin diseases, made with chopped leaves and flowers.

For those who suffer from migraines

People who suffer from migraine can drink this tea hot, twice a day to calm the annoying pain.
Leave to brew 20 grams of tilia blossoms in a quart of boiling water covered for 15minutes.

Natural remedy for ear buzzing

Bath hands and feet in an infusion made of a handful of dandelions every liter of water, useful for arthritis and ear buzzing.

Reduce fever with white wine

The wine, produced by soaking two fresh roots of taraxacum in a pint of white wine for 3 days, it could be used in a case of fever.

Also in order to decongest the liver, you can extracte the juice of 100 grams of fresh roots, mix with 20 grams of an alcohol spirit, 15ml of glycerol and 20ml of water. To be taken in spoons.

Natural methods to use the basil

So common in the kitchen and so easy to cultivate in pots, basil has many properties known to folk medicine.

Against vomiting and nervous dyspepsia : drink the infusion, made with 10 grams of leaves in a quart of boiling water.
Gargles with the infusion can be useful against tonsillar angina.

To help the digestion, you can use the essence of basil, by putting 5-10 drops of the oil on a sugar cube and taking one after meals.

And as a good substitute for snuff, you can create this combination of one part of mint, one part of lemon grass and two parts of basil, worked in fine powder.

Reddening and wrinkles around the eyes

The yarrow (achillea millefolium) is considered a good seasonal purifier when it comes to skin diseases.

A remedy with mullein for the flu

The mullein or Verbascum emerges from a large rosette of oval leaves, and a tall stalk surrounded by flowers.
Pick the flowers that have just opened, throw away the cup and put them to dry under the sun covered with paper sheets. Keep them in a glass jar away from light.
In case of cold or flu an infusion could be very useful.
