Laurel has stimulant, digestive, antiseptic and pesticidal properties. Leaves and berries are used for this purpose.
As digestive remedy: prepare an infusion with 30 g (1.05 oz) of bay dried leaves in 1 l of water for 10 minutes. Drink a cup after each meal.
Remedy against menstrual pains: prepare an infusion with 20 g (0.70 oz) of leaves per each litre of water for 5 minutes and drink two cups per day for one week before and during menstruation.
